This 300cc Big Bore Kit is identical to the TPER-0007 300cc Big Bore Kit, but the standard 300cc heads and pistons are replaced with high performance options.

In this case we have forged Wiseco pistons that are lighter and stronger than stock, and also changable insert VHM cylinder heads, which have been specifically developed by TYGA and VHM for use with the TYGA 300cc Big Bore Kit.

There is no problem about the RC valves hitting the piston due to thin cylinder wall thickness. This is not an issue on our kit as it’s using different

cylinders, not modified NSR250. They are genuine OEM Honda cylinders, made and plated in Japan to their typical high quality.

The RC valves are easier to adjust than ever on the 300 kit, as there’s only one adjuster screw to play with, and each cylinder marked at the correct ‘fully open’ position for simple setting.

Exact Jetting requirements for your area and application cannot be provided due to differing atmospheric conditions around the world. However, following are some base settings to work from:

MC21 Std bottom end, Wire splice, TYGA Pipes, Airbox lid mod with filter.

Temp: 29 C

Press: 1015mb

Hum: 65%

Bracket ohlins rear shock, Honda NSR250 MC21/MC28

Bracket, Rear Shock, Ohlins Conversion, MC21/MC28.

Consists of a bracket with foam to protect the reservoir, two hose clamps, and and two genuine Honda M6 bolts. This replaces the Honda part 52411-KV3-000. and recommended to be used with Ohlins rear shock part number HO110013 or similar to give full support for the shock reservoir. Note this can be used on the R, SE and SP spec models.

The carburetors on the NC30/35 are particularly prone to heat from the engine, which in turn heats up the fuel and lowers efficiency.

The TYGA carb tray for the NC30/35 aids in keeping the heat of the engine away from the carbs, and is fully compatible with all standard components. It will also help with keeping debris away from the carbs, if the carbs are being run full open.

No special tools are required to fit the carb tray.

Carbon race airbox lid, Honda NSR250 MC21/MC28

The stock airbox is restricted by the size of the inlet holes on the lid which limits the amountof power that can be unleashed from the NSR250. By replacing the stock airbox lid with the TYGA Performance version, the inlet to the airbox is more than doubled in size and the flow improved by having one large trumpet.

This product is a direct replacement for the stock one and uses all the stock hardware. It even has an ‘O’ ring groove so by removal and re-use of the stock airbox lid ‘O’ ring, a perfect seal with the airbox can be retained. A mesh is supplied in the airbox to hold the stock air filter securely in position.

As well as potential power improvements over the stock airbox, there is no denying it certainly looks a lot more trick than the Honda one too!

Our race airbox is inspired by the GP road racing technology, taking advantage of a front air intake and all available space within the engine compartment.

And by using the lower part of the fuel tank as closing to increase the volumetric capacity of which becomes 9.5 lt against 6.2 lt of the standard component ( + 53%).

The air intake (Snorkel) is positioned in the front to be able to suck a greater amount of air and with less turbulence than the positioning adopted in origin ( in the back)

Its shape also was designed using the calculation FEM (Finite Element Method) to minimize the load losses and therefore increase performance in the complete range of the RPM.

The kit also includes a carbon cover to be mounted close to the air intake to prevent suction of hot air.

All this is mainly reflected in an increase in engine performance, as shown below on the Dyno graph.
